Life through my lens...

As a child I spent a lot of time with my Grandma, she is a huge part of the person I am today. She taught me how to think for myself, to question everything, and that if I really wanted something...no one could tell me no. The walls of my Grandma's house are covered with framed photos of all the family, pictures just keep getting added, they're rarely taken down. My Grandma has had a camera in her hands my entire life and even before that. Going through the photos in her albums is like a history lesson of films and camera types. She has tin cans filled with pictures so thin and brittle it's hard to believe they're still around and today she uses a digital camera and frame! I've seen so many pictures that I am lucky to be able to...but most of all she captured our family's life story starting with her and my Grandpa and the family they grew. 
This is where my LOVE of photography comes from; because I understand how precious time and memories are. To me, photography is intimate and involves work with you to create an amazing experience and great photos. I believe that the true talent of a photographer lies in their ability to make you look your best in the moment.  To me, it's photography in it's most classic form--when I take your picture, what I see through my eyes is what you will see in my photos. 
Basically, you're you in the best way possible.
